    The Three Forks Education Foundation will host its annual dinner and auction fundraiser at 6 p.m. on March 8 in the school cafeteria. Tickets for this event are available for pre-purchase at the school office and the event. One plate costs $15; meanwhile, a Family pass costs $50. The foundation will enter all guests in a $50 door prize raffle awarded at the end of the event.     After seeking public input, Fish Wildlife and Parks met with the Headwaters Advisory Board to review the Missouri Headwaters State Park master plan on Friday. Members of the advisory board and the public shared their thoughts on future development in the state park.     Envision Three Forks released the first chapter of the Three Forks Growth Policy Plan draft on Jan. 17. The city will use the final draft of the Growth Policy Plan to guide future development decisions.     The Three Forks School Board opened discussion of passing an eventual General Operation Levy at their Jan. 18 meeting. Talk about a new Mill Levy was brought up during Lisa Morgan’s, the District Clerk/Business Manager, report to the school board.     Even after a pandemic halted traditional learning throughout the state, the Three Forks school district saw an increase in average ACT scores.   • Study shows up to 217 new homes needed in the Three Forks area by 2026

    To keep up with the increasing demand for housing in the Gallatin County, between 94 to 217 homes need to be built in the Three Forks area by 2026, a study presented to the City Council on Jan. 10 said.
