  • Column: Constructing the perfect Thanksgiving plate

    Jack H. Smith, Three Forks Voice|Nov 23, 2022

Along with a slice of New York style pizza and a perfectly cooked piece of prime rib, Thanksgiving dinner has to be my favorite meal. While some people might not put in as much thought as I do about constructing the best plate possible on Thanksgiving, I think of it often, especially when I am hungry, which seems to be about every 20 minutes. Jack H. Smith, Three Forks Voice|Nov 16, 2022

Owning a weekly newspaper makes it difficult to take a more extended vacation, and it has been years since I’ve taken more than three or four days off. I’m certainly not complaining because I have had a lot of jobs that I have hated, and I really enjoy what I do. Sometimes, I wish I could get a lovely two-week holiday where I get to spend a little time traveling and a lot of time sitting around at the house, not doing much of anything. When I think about where I would like to go, I always have Hawaii near the top of my list, which I hope wil... Full story
