    The Three Forks High School Cross Country boys' team had a dominant performance last Saturday in the regular season finale at the Rusty Raisland Invitational in Townsend.     Now in its third year, the Three Forks Ladies Night Fall Walk has seen tremendous growth since the inaugural event in 2020. Twenty-one businesses are hosting this year’s walk scheduled for Thursday, October 6, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. According to Pam Carey of Legacy Trading, the origins of the walk date back to an informal gathering of business owners over some drinks. Work that has been finished includes the removal of tree roots and old pavement, correcting damage from a Cottonwood Tree, and repaving.     Construction on a new Meridian Bridge could begin as early as this fall. According to Jefferson County Commissioner Chair Cory Kirsch, the governing body received an update on the new bridge from Kathy Thompson of Stahly Engineering at a meeting last week at the Willow Creek Fire Hall.
