    An August lawsuit filed by Broadwater County residents aims to halt the Headwaters Rest Area in Three Forks. The lawsuit was filed in Montana Judicial District Court in Townsend by landowners Justin Brewer, Laura Brewer, Amy Gibson, Larry Weidinger, Heather Bennett, Corey Williams, and Schogia LLC against the Montana Department of Transportation.     The Three Forks City Council voted last week to approve a resolution to amend the fiscal year 2020-2021 budget to acknowledge unanticipated revenues and amend expenditures exceeding the original appropriations. The most significant unanticipated revenue was in the Streets/Flood Improvement fund, with $171,813 received from a Covid-19 CARES Act reimbursement from Gallatin County and alley abandonment purchases.     The Three Forks After-school program is scheduled to start next week. The program will officially begin on Monday, September 7, and will run Monday to Thursday, from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. This year’s program will be divided into three sections: Kindergarten-2nd, 3rd – 5th, and middle school.
