After 20 years, Three Forks Schools re-finished and re-designed the main competition gym from floor to ceiling this fall. The gym was in such rough shape that when people would stand or walk on it, it would flex over the weight room. Three Forks schools put together a graphics committee which included vice principal Jake Lynch, basketball coaches Terry Hauser and Lacy Noble, and volleyball coach Tiffany Lynch to help with the design of the space. The goal of the committee was ¨to give the gym... Full story

A Bozeman television station recently had a story about recent accidents between Three Forks and Belgrade in which Gallatin County Sheriff Dan Springer discussed an uptick in cell phone use while driving. While this was very alarming to read, it certainly was not surprising. Whether it is a trip on Interstate 90 or driving through any community in the Gallatin Valley, it is hard not to spot someone using their cell phone while driving. And this needs to stop. There will always be accidents that will happen because of horrible conditions.... Full story

We have an innate desire to belong in families, at work, and in our communities. We want to belong in such a way that others would go out of their way to pursue us. But, of course, it looks different in marriage, friendships, and even relationships within our family. Longing to be pursued is not a sign of self-admiration, as God placed that desire deep within our hearts because we were created in His image. If you are feeling lonely, abandoned, or unwanted because of what the world says, it’s time to stop. You are valued, treasured, and l... Full story

According to Forsberg, each member of the high school varsity and junior varsity squads set personal records at the teams' home event at the Headwaters Golf Course. The banner day for the team included senior Bryon Fanning breaking his school record and finishing in third with a breakneck time of 16:38. Cass Violett continued his torrid start... Full story
The Three Forks High School Volleyball team will be looking to pick up their third conference win this week with a road matchup on October 5 at Whitehall and a home match on October 6 against Townsend. In action last week, the Wolves fell at home to Big Timber, 25-15, 25-17, 25-21. "I think we did a pretty good job of playing hard from start to finish against Big Timber. Wardens working for Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks described a shift toward enforcement and administrative tasks that has moved the division toward a "cop" culture versus the "cowboy" culture most prefer, according to an audit the Legislative Audit Division released last week. The audit, which was completed at the request of the bipartisan Legislative Audit Committee, also highlighted communication issues, waning morale and concerns about a lack of trust between the agency's headquarters in... Playing in front of the largest home crowd in recent memory, which included a thunderous student section on September 29 against Townsend, the Three Forks High School Football team wasted little time taking the lead when senior quarterback Shane Williams found the endzone on a 30-yard run with 10:04 left in the first quarter. It would be the first of four first-half rushing touchdowns for Williams, giving the Wolves (5-1, 2-0 Southern B) a 28-0 halftime lead on their way to a convincing 46-0... Full story
