    The 2022 Headwaters Country Jam lineup was recently announced for the festival scheduled for August 18 to 20 at "The Bridge" near Three Forks. The headlining act for August 18 is Hardy.   • Social media post leads to investigation

    After a social media post made last week by a former Three Forks student was flagged by the FBI, an investigation by the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office found it was not a credible threat to district staff or students. Three Forks Superintendent Rhonda Uthlaut said after they were notified, the district worked closely with law enforcement officials and it was determined there is no threat to the public.     It was a tremendous opening game of the season for the Three Forks High School girls basketball team as a solid defensive effort led the way in a 35-26 win over perennial Class B power Fairfield. Opening their season at a tournament in Shelby, the Wolves picked up a 72-69 win last Friday over Fairfield and a 59-46 victory Saturday over Malta. Young, 70, died of natural causes leaving a close circle of very valued and beloved friends in Livingston, as well as family, all of whom will always remember his very kind and gentle and very quiet nature.
