    With recent reports of thefts from garages and vandalism in City of Three Forks parks, the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office is encouraging local residents to let them know of any suspicious activity. According to Sergeant Dan McDonough, they have had several reports of thefts on weekend evenings from garages and cars where the perpetrator has accessed the property through the alley.     Another week, another strong performance for the Three Forks High School speech and drama team. The Wolves finished first in speech at last Saturday’s tournament in Big Timber, the sixth consecutive time they have earned the top spot at a Class B meet this season. Because I have dealt with similar things in the past, I instantly knew this was a scam, but it was still very troubling.     The Three Forks High School girls basketball team used a well-balanced scoring attack to pick up a season-opening 44-28 victory against Ennis. Head Coach Mike Sauvageau said after three weeks of practice it was nice to finally be able to play somebody other than themselves.
