    The Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is hosting a public meeting to provide updates on a multi-year water quality study for the middle segment of the Gallatin River, from Yellowstone National Park to Spanish Creek. In 2023, DEQ determined the river should be listed as impaired for excessive algal growth.     Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is seeking public comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed list of funding awards for the 2024 Trail Stewardship Program (TSP) grant cycle. The proposed list of recipients for 2024 includes an $87,000 grant to the City of Three Forks that would be used for the Headwaters Trail System.     It's once again time for the annual Rebekah Lodge St. Patrick's Day fundraiser. The annual event starts at 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 17, at the Lodge, 120 E.     February was a considerably slower month for calls. TFAA responded to 19 calls. 9 of these were transports to Bozeman Health Deaconess Regional Medical Center. 2 of these hospital transports we were assisted by AMR paramedics due to the severity of the calls. The rest of the calls were refusals, cancelled prior to arrivals, and a standby for basketball at the Three Forks High School.
