On May 10th, Evelyn Ewan passed away peacefully at her home in Three Forks. Evelyn was born on May 30th, 1935, in the foothills just outside of Willow Creek to parents Raymond and Lillian Goakey. Gay Lilly Vaughan Guizado Cavagnolo (1941-2023) was born in Portland, Oregon to Donna (Harwood) and Otis L. Vaughan who were descendants of the pioneers. The Vaughan family came from France settling in Virginia and migrating to California during the Gold Rush era of the 1840’s. Shirley Jeane Zuelke was born on November 30, 1953, in Long Beach, California. She was the third child of Jack and Audrey (Kinchloe) Zuelke. The family returned to their Montana roots in early 1954, where they purchased a ranch on the lower Madison Road in Three Forks. 16-2023 Maxine passed away on October 1, 2023. Maxine was the fourth of nine children born to Willis and Bina Lane Albro. They were ranched and lived a mile west of Willow Creek, Montana.
