William Thomas Kanta (Tom) was born on April 23rd, 1938, at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital to Joseph and Mary (Ridzon) Kanta. The youngest of four children, Tom spent his childhood on the family farm on the outskirts of Bozeman. James Clifford Phillips, 74, of Three Forks passed away suddenly on May 23 at his family cabin in the mountains above Pony. Jim was born in Three Forks to Cliff and Ruth (Colegrove) Phillips. Russell Calvert Green, age 87 of Bozeman, went to drive the big semi (“boop boop”) in the sky on May 21, 2023. Russ was born to Gail Green and Lydia Bennett Green in Bozeman where he also spent most of his youth. Russ was a self-made man who worked and played hard his whole life.
