    The Montana High School Rodeo Association is hosting a two-day event this week in Three Forks. The event, set up as two one-day rodeos, is scheduled to begin on September 9 at 9 a.m. and on September 10 at 8 a.m. at the Three Forks Rodeo Grounds.     It was an impressive second competition of the season for the Three Forks High School Cross Country team at last Friday's Flathead Invitational in Kalispell.     The Three Forks High School Cross Country team had a productive start to the season at last Saturday's Jefferson Invite in Boulder. The Wolves boys' team had two runners finish in the top five. Bryon Fanning ended the race in second with a time of 17:05, and Cass Violett finished in fifth at 18:35.     The opening weekend of action for the Three Forks High School Volleyball team had plenty of positives.     A trio of Three Forks wrestlers battled against the best in the country in Greco-Roman at last weekend’s 2023 US Marine Corps Junior and 16U Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota.     The Three Forks High School Tennis team battled cold and rainy conditions at last week’s Jefferson Invite in East Helena.
