A dream season came to an end Tuesday for the Gallatin County Outlaws with a 4-0 loss in the championship game of the Northwest Class A Regional American Legion Baseball Tournament in Anchorage. Each year the Montana East-West Shrine Game in June highlights some of the best football and cheerleaders throughout the state, at the same time raising money for the Shriners Children's Hospital in Spokane. Montana State Freshman Tayla Moeykens had an incredible end to her first year with the school's rodeo program at last week's 72nd annual College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, WY. Three Forks High School junior Jasmyn Murphy is a state champion. Murphy finished in first in the long jump at last week's Class B State Meet in Laurel with a winning mark of 17 feet and .25 inches. This Saturday, May 22, will be an excellent opportunity for local baseball fans with Three Forks Baseball hosting the 2021 Gallatin Valley End of the Year Tournament.
