The 35th annual Potato Festival is slated for Saturday, August 21 in Manhattan with various family-friendly activities.
The Manhattan Fireman’s Pancake Breakfast is scheduled from 6. a.m. to 10:30 a.m., or until the food is gone. The parade will take place on Main Street at 11 a.m.
Strings and Things will bring their fun, festive, musical flare to the Gazebo at Railroad Park from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The group features Beck McCotter, Kay Dailing, Jan Wong, Angela Reese, and Allyne Webster.
The first annual Spud Fest Hoe Down is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Pasture Drive-In.
