The Three Forks Volunteer Fire Department is once again giving back to the local community with their annual food drive for the Headwaters Area Food Bank.
This year’s drive will also include a fundraising sloppy joe dinner for the department scheduled for Tuesday, November 9, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the fire hall.
According to Assistant Chief John Whitesitt, the department will not be going door-to-door in 2021 since they will be cooking the sloppy joe dinners. Those attending can also bring food donations.
“We will accept any food donations and bring those over to the Food Bank and save you cooking one night by offering our to-go dinners. There is no set fee. Just donate what you can to the Fire Department,” he said.
