Social media post leads to investigation

After a social media post made last week by a former Three Forks student was flagged by the FBI, an investigation by the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office found it was not a credible threat to district staff or students.

Three Forks Superintendent Rhonda Uthlaut said after they were notified, the district worked closely with law enforcement officials and it was determined there is no threat to the public. Uthlaut described the social media post as inappropriate, adding it was not specific to the school or any person.
