Recent news from Vigilante Electric Cooperative (VEC) officials will be a boon to area customers.
The member-owned non-profit corporation recently announced their board of trustees approved a rebate back to all rate classes in the total amount of approximately $800,000. For accounts with Kwh usage, a credit will be added this month and will be based on usage and revenue per metered account.
According to VEC General Manager Rollie Miller, they have the lowest residential and irrigation rates in the state and are in a strong financial position.
