The Three Forks Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter had a busy week with a variety of activities.
According to advisor Connie Olsen, the chapter was one of many around the country celebrating National FFA Week. The local chapter hosted an FFA spirit week where students dressed up daily, and they also served ice cream on Tuesday to celebrate the dairy industry.
The chapter also hosted an agriculture-related door decorating contest, a daily roping contest at lunch, and capped off the week Friday with an assembly and career fair.
"There is a shortage of personnel in the technology industry. We are trying to develop relationships with industry in our community to provide internships for our students in the Career Technical Education programs," said Olsen. "One such internship has been found with RDO equipment in Belgrade. Klayton Kotter has been interning with them since the first of March. I hope that this career fair will spark an interest with students and those organizations that participate in similar internships."
