The Three Forks High School Football team will look to pick up their first conference win Friday with a Homecoming matchup against Columbus.
In action last week, the Wolves (2-3, 0-3 Southern B) fell 32-14 at Big Timber.
Head Coach Connor Sullivan praised the effort of his team.
“We came out and competed hard the whole game. We need to finish drives and score in the red zone. That will be a big point of emphasis this week,” he said.
It was another strong performance from junior Shane Williams, who Sullivan said had a big night on both sides of the ball.
“He was our leading tackler on defense and made some big catches for us on offense,” Sullivan said.
Regarding Friday night’s matchup with the Cougars, Sullivan said every game is a big game, and they need to take each day throughout the week to improve on things they are struggling with.
Editor’s Note: The Three Forks High School football article in last week’s Voice should have said that sophomore Dylan Swenson had two touchdown receptions instead of Derek Swenson.
We apologize for the error.
