There will be plenty of fun at the Three Forks Community Library this month.
It should be a magical evening on Saturday, October 22, with a Harry Potter event scheduled for ages 8 to 11 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and ages 12 and up from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The event is limited to 25 participants each session, and those wanting to attend can sign up at the library located at 607 S. Main. Those interested can also call 406-285-3747.
According to Librarian Fawn Venzor, this will be the second year doing the event.
Along with what she described as great decorations given to them last year by a Halloween store, the evening will include fun games, a photo booth, wand decorating, potions, and many Harry Potter prizes.
"We hope to have a good group of students of all ages," she said.
This month's choice for the book club is "The Sowing Season" by local author Katie Powner of Manhattan. Powner will be talking about the book during the club and discussing a new book she is releasing this month.
The library is also participating in the Three Forks Chamber of Commerce Trick or Treat on Main, scheduled for Monday, October 31, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Children will receive candy and a free book.
