It’s rivalry week for the Three Forks High School football team.
The Wolves (2-4, 0-4 Southern B) will look to pick up their first conference win of the season when they host Manhattan on Friday, October 14.
Head Coach Connor Sullivan said the team used the bye week after their 24-16 home loss to Columbus to get their bodies and minds right.
“Then come ready to go for another week. This is a big game to the kids, coaches, and community. Us coaches will do everything we can to put these kids in a situation to execute the game plan well and play fast,” Sullivan said.
Following the close loss to Columbus, Sullivan said he was super proud of his squad’s effort.
“These kids have gotten better. The scoreboard and wins/loss columns don’t show it, but the kids compete and fight like no other. We’re really close. I’m proud to be these boys’ coach,” he said.
