After an outstanding start to the 2022 campaign, the Three Forks High School Cross Country team will wrap up the regular season on Saturday, October 15, at the Rusty Raisland Invitational in Townsend.
Head Coach Tara Forsberg looks forward to the final meet before State on October 22 in Missoula.
"We want to keep everyone healthy and fine-tune our training for state," she said.
In action last week, the Wolves had another week of solid performances at the Capital City 7 on 7 Meet in Helena.
Forsberg said the 7 on 7 in a tough meet, but she was very happy with the effort of the Three Forks runners.
Bella Jones finished 16th in the girls' Varsity 2 race with a time of 21:48.45, and Ari Judd was 15th in the Varsity 3 race with a time of 22:31.52. Brielle Davis was 19th in the Varsity 4 race with a finish at 23:08.50, and Grace Kluin finished 18th in the Varsity 5 race at 23:40.38. Devynn Judd was 24th in the Varsity 6 race at 25:05.30. In the JV race, Karin Williams finished at 30:25.87, and Claire Cutler had a time of 32:36.14.
In the boys' Varsity 1 race, Beau Johnston finished in 21st with a time of 17:33.86. Bryon Fanning had a great day for the Wolves in the Varsity 2 race, finishing in seventh with 17:24.53. Garrett Golding was 14th in the Varsity 3 race with a time of 17:46.22. Cass Violett had great run for Three Forks finishing ninth in the Varsity 4 race with a time of 18:00.52. Jacob Ramsey finished sixth in the Varsity 6 race with a time of 19:34.50, and Finn Hanson was 22nd in the Varsity 7 race at 19:48.89.
In the JV race, Christopher Harmon finished at 20:34.62, Noah Hegar finished at 20:47.19, Rhett Violett had a time of 21:14.79, Jacob Murphy ended the race at 21:23.90, Brady Olson had a time of 23:45.52, and Corbin Lewellen finished at 24:30.71.
