First Day Hike planned at Missouri Headwaters State Park

Area residents are invited to ring in the New Year with a First Day Hike at Missouri Headwaters State Park.

The January 1 Ranger led two to four-mile “easy hike” is scheduled for 11 a.m.

At 10 a.m., hot chocolate and toasted bagels will be served at a campfire.

Those interested will meet at the Main Picnic Area by the Gallatin River and should bring warm clothes and sturdy boots. No dogs are allowed on the hike.
