Three Forks High School Senior Reid Woodward will be continuing his football career at the collegiate level.
Woodward signed a letter of intent last week to play football at MSU Northern in Havre.
"I'm ecstatic. It's been a dream for a while," Woodward said prior to signing.
Three Forks Head Coach Connor Sullivan said it was great to have Woodward in the program the past four seasons.
"He was one of those kids that came into practice every day ready to work and get better. He was great to coach, and he did well with our younger classmen, showing them how to lead the right way," Sullivan said.
Woodward said last week he would play slot receiver for the Lights and hopefully get the chance to do some kick return.
Sullivan is excited to see Woodward get the chance to play at the next level.
"We had multiple conversations about it, and I'm excited to follow his journey down at MSU - Northern. He knows it's a lot of work and that it's a jump from high school to college. He will learn a lot this next year, and I'm glad he's still playing the game he loves. I'm going to miss having him around here, but he paved the way for our future athletes and program," Sullivan said.
