Propelled by a huge second inning, the Three Forks High School Softball team won their second game of the season last Tuesday with a 15-2 home win over visiting Deer Lodge.
The Wolves scored ten runs in the second inning, including a grand slam by Ada Rae Thomas, her second home run in two games.
Head Coach Clay Feliciano said it was a great performance for Fallon Page in the circle.
"She managed to strike out 12, walked six, and gave up only two hits," Feliciano said.
Thomas led Three Forks with two hits, while Sierra Schall, Eva Parker, Karlie McDermott, and Page each added one.
The Wolves will be on the road this week, with an April 18 matchup at Anaconda and a weekend tournament in Missoula and Florence.
"We are focused on improving offensively at the plate. We need to have more quality at-bats as a team and clean up our base running. Overall, we are improving daily, and the girls are excited about the season.," Feliciano said.
