What has already been an incredible first season for the Three Forks High School Softball team became even sweeter after the Wolves qualified for this week’s Divisional Tournament with an 8-1 play-in game win Monday evening over Anaconda.
“I am extremely proud of the way they played. They had a ton of energy all game,” said Head Coach Clay Feliciano.
It was quite the night on the mound for Three Forks pitcher Fallon Page who finished with a complete game and nine strikeouts.
“Fallon pitched the game of her life, and the defense backed her up nicely when she gave up hits,” Feliciano said.
On offense, Eva Parker and Sierra Schall each had two hits for the Wolves. Ada Rae Thomas and Page each added a hit.
“We didn’t have the greatest offensive showing. We had way too many strikeouts, especially looking strikeouts, Feliciano said.
The Wolves will face the number one seed in the west on Thursday at 5 p.m. in Anaconda.
