Three Forks Area Ambulance conducts helicopter training

From the Three Forks Area Ambulance

TFAA EMTs and EMT students from the Whiteline EMT Class that is currently being held at TFAA Station participated in helicopter training in the evening of Tuesday May 23 at Stevenson Park.

This training covered loading patients with the rotors going, called a hot load. The training also covered what supplies are carried on board and under what circumstances would the Life Flight or Med Flight Helicopters be deployed to a local emergency.
