After the recent upsetting news of vandalism on the new roofing completed as part of the Three Forks Schools Bond Project, Superintendent Rhonda Uthlaut made it very clear that the district will not tolerate this behavior.
At last week’s School Board meeting, Uthlaut discussed the August 13 incident where vandalism occurred on the newly completed roof and part of the brick siding.
Uthlaut said she really appreciates the public giving the district their trust with the $25 million bond.
“It’s pretty disheartening that somebody would think this is something they wanted to do. It is such a blow to all the hard work and dedication that has gone into making this project successful.,” said Uthlaut. “We do have the police involved, and we will prosecute.”
The district has camera footage of the incident and asked anyone with information to contact Uthlaut at 406-285-3224.
“We have some footage of it, and we are going to pursue it,” Uthlaut said.
