Opening weekend nets positives for Three Forks Volleyball team

The opening weekend of action for the Three Forks High School Volleyball team had plenty of positives.

Head Coach Tiffany Lynch said the team played really well at the two-day Choteau Invitational.

“We worked on some different lineups with girls in different spots. They did a great job of adjusting to new positions and working together,” said Lynch. “One of the biggest positives from the weekend was the performance of our younger girls. I was really impressed with our freshmen and sophomores stepping up and playing like they belonged there. Another positive was that the girls did a really good job of staying positive with each other even when things weren’t going their way. We had a lot of fun while also learning a lot about our team.”

The Wolves will jump into conference play this week with matches on August 29 at Manhattan and August 31 at Jefferson High School in Boulder.

“Our eyes were really opened this weekend to a lot that we need to work on in order to be a more competitive team. We have a lot of talent and potential, but we have a lot of work to do to get where we need to be,” Lynch said.
