The Three Forks High School Volleyball team ended the regular season in style, with a three-set senior night victory over visiting Lone Peak.
The 25-22, 25-19, 25-19 win came in the last home game for seniors Ali Kotter, Paige Lien, Fallon Page, and Eva Parker.
"Last night (October 21) was so much fun. I'm so proud of our amazing seniors. It was an awesome night for them, and I'm so happy they got a win on their home court for their final game. They are such a great group. I really can't say enough good things about them," Head Coach Tiffany Lynch said.
Natalee Hayder had another outstanding game for Three Forks, leading the team in kills (9) and aces (3). She also had six digs and one assist.
Kylie Rowan led the team in assists with 14, Arabella McCauley finished with 11, and Mikayla Lear and Kennedy Rogers added one.
Lear led the team in blocks with seven, and Parker finished with three.
Page led the way in digs with nine, and Madelyn Tesoro finished with six. Kotter finished with five digs, Rowan had three, McCauley had two, and Rogers, Lien, and Parker finished with one.
Lean finished with six kills, Parker and Page finished with five, Lien had four, and Rowan added one.
Page had two aces, and Lien and Parker finished with one.
In their first game of the week, Three Forks fell in three sets to Jefferson High School (Boulder), 25-20, 25-16, 25-19.
The fifth-seeded Wolves will open the 5B District Tournament on Thursday at 9 a.m. against four seed Manhattan. The winner will play at 2:15 p.m. against one seed Townsend. The loser of Thursday's opening game will play in elimination match Friday at 9 a.m.
"We've talked a lot about this momentum going into districts and how important it will be for us to keep it going. This week, we will be focusing on breaking down each rotation, honing in on our strengths, and working to clean things up on our side of the net. We will be really focused on doing all of the little things right," Lynch said.
