2 School Board seats up for election

The Three Forks School Board will have two open seats in the May 7 election.

According to District Clerk Alisa Meeks, the three-year terms for board members Robert Buchholz and Mathew Marx will be up for election later this year.

The Gallatin County Election Office website states candidate filing for the upcoming election is currently open and will run through March 28.

This will be a mail ballot-only election, with ballots being mailed to registered voters on April 19, and no polling places will be open on election day.

Regular voter registration is open until April 8, and late registration will occur from April 9 until May 7. During the late registration period, residents must appear at the Gallatin County Elections Office at 311 W. Main (Room 210) in Bozeman.
