Wolves dominate Butte Central

For the second straight week, the Three Forks High School Softball team did not need a full seven innings to come away with a victory.

The Wolves were once again dominant from the start on April 2 with a 15-0 win over Butte Central in a game that was called after four innings due to the mercy rule.

According to Head Coach Clay Feliciano, senior pitcher Fallon Page finished with seven strikeouts and allowed just two hits over the four innings. Page has now opened the season with seven scoreless innings.

Feliciano said AdaRae Thomas, Nova Ervin, and Grace Kluin led the team with two hits each. It was a tremendous day for Ervin, who had two home runs and five RBIs. Kluin finished with two doubles and four RBIs, and Thomas had a triple, double, and one RBI. Thomas and Maycee Church both accounted for three runs for Three Forks.

Sierra Schall, Church, and Page had one hit in the decisive win.

Three Forks (2-0) finished with just one error on defense.

The Wolves will next compete in Anaconda for an April 9 matchup with the Copperheads. Three Forks will also play this week at a tournament on April 12 and 13 in Missoula.
