It was another great week of results for the Three Forks High School Tennis team.
The Wolves opened the week on April 9 in Helena with matches against Choteau, Simms, and East Helena.
In varsity action, the number one doubles team of Maddie Griffiths and Karin Williams picked up a win and the number two team of Claire Cutler and Mikayla Lear won two matches.
In number one singles action, Malia Eriksson had one win and won one of two sets in another match, and at number two singles, Ali Kotter split a match. Sophie Meskimen had a great day at number three singles, finishing with four victories. Sarah Christman won two matches and split a two-set match at number four singles.
Head Coach Janna Lauver said the junior varsity team had a great meet against Belgrade on April 13, with many fun matches with mixed singles and doubles.
In singles action, Anna Dabling, Amanda Wilcox, Tommi Kirwan, and Violet Donnelly won for Three Forks.
In doubles play, Brooke Clayburn and Kirwan, as well as Donnelly and Lydia Ogeka, finished with wins.
On April 13, Lauver said the varsity had a fantastic time in Livingston against divisional opponents Red Lodge and Broadwater County.
At number one singles, Eriksson had a 6-3, 6-4 win over Danica Tucker of Red Lodge. Kotter picked up a 6-4, 6-3 win at number two singles over Taylor Schultz of Red Lodge. Meskimen had a win at number three singles, and Christman had two wins at number four singles.
Griffiths and Williams, the number one varsity doubles team, won 6-4, 6-3 over Liz and Violet Collins of Broadwater.
In junior varsity action in Livingston, the doubles team of Ogeka and Donnelly finished with one win.
