It was an outstanding second tournament of the season for the Three Forks High School Golf team, with a multitude of Wolves shining at last Thursday’s Livingston Invite.
According to Head Coach Aaron Harkins, every player matched or beat their scores from the opening week, with two Wolves setting personal bests.
Harkins said Ari Judd shot an 87 for the Lady Wolves, which was good for second place, Claire Van Vleet carded her career low of 104, Paige Lien had a 110, and Kennedy Rogers finished with a 121. Harkins added using the Class B scoring with the top four individuals, Three Forks finished in second place.
On the boys’ side, Devon Long finished in second place with a career-best of 77, Hunter Feddes and Tallyn McCauley had 85s, and Carson Woodland had a 99. The boys also finished in second as a team.
“It was amazing weather with great conditions on the course today, and our team took advantage of that. I hope this will propel us to keep working hard at practice and tighten up some loose bolts so we can continue heading in the right direction score-wise. We are super proud of the team, and we will just look to improve every day.
