Could you please provide some background about yourself?
I have lived in Three Forks for nearly 10 years and the Gallatin Valley for almost 15. I am a proud graduate of Montana State University with a degree in Accounting – Go Cats! – my lifelong connection to Montana runs deep, with my parents growing up in Great Falls and our family frequently visiting the Bozeman area growing up.
My professional journey has been multifaceted. I have always had a strong tie to the real estate market, obtaining my property management license in 2016 and I currently hold a Real Estate Broker's license.
In parallel, my passion for numbers has driven nearly 15 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping. For the past six years, I've specialized in new construction home budgets alongside general bookkeeping duties.
Many in the community know my husband, Charles Eastty. Together we own our real estate and our bookkeeping business. We are parents to three wonderful daughters, two of whom are old enough to attend Three Forks Elementary (2YK and 3rd grade) and our youngest who is about 6 months old. We are very excited to spend our upcoming summer camping, walking around the trails in town, and going to Silverwood Theme Park. During the fall you can find me coaching AYSO soccer and you will also find me coaching Little Wolves Basketball again next year!
Why are you running for the Three Forks School Board?
My journey in real estate and finance has uniquely equipped me for the responsibilities of the school board. With experience in managing properties and overseeing budgets, I bring a strong foundation in navigating complex financial matters to ensure prudent decision-making and resource allocation.
Transparency and accountability are the cornerstones of my approach. I am committed to asking the hard questions and advocating for the best interests of our students, parents, and educators.
Moreover, as a parent to three wonderful daughters all of whom are or will attend Three Forks Public schools, my dedication to serving on the school board is personal. I am deeply invested in ensuring that every child receives a quality education and that our schools continue to thrive for generations to come.
My commitment to this cause extends far into the future, as we will have a child in the school until at least 2041!
I am honored to seek your support in this endeavor and look forward to working collaboratively to build a brighter future for our community's children by using the money we have wisely, ensuring that it benefits our students, staff, and activities without unnecessarily burdening taxpayers.
