After losing 3-2 in extra innings to Thompson Falls on May 16 in the opening round of the Western B/C Divisional Softball Tournament in Florence, the Three Forks High School Softball team would need to win two consecutive games the following day to advance to state.
Not only did the Wolves win their next two on May 17 with a 12-2 victory over Troy and a 15-5 win over Mission-Arlo-Charlee (MAC), but they would also get revenge against Thompson Falls with a phenomenal 20-3 win on May 18 to finish in third place.
