The Three Forks High School Cheer team will be well represented at the 77th annual East-West Shrine Game.
Seniors Ericka Johnson, Paige Lien, and Ari Judd were all selected to cheer at the Saturday, June 15 game in Billings. Fellow senior Sarah Christman was chosen as an alternate.
For Wolves Head Coach Tawni Regier, it is incredibly exciting for the program to see cheerleaders selected to participate in the game, which raises money and public awareness for the Shriner's Children's Hospital in Spokane.
"This event is a prestigious one, and having our team members recognized at this level is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and talent. It also brings a sense of pride and accomplishment to the entire Three Forks High School community," said Regier. "It is extremely rewarding to have our athletes participate in an event of such significance. Not only does it provide them with an opportunity to showcase their skills on a larger stage, but it also reflects positively on our athletic program as a whole. Their involvement demonstrates the high standards and achievements of our cheerleaders, both on and off the field."
Looking back on her time with the Class of 2024 cheerleaders, Regier said working with the group has been a fantastic experience.
"They are a dedicated, hardworking, and cohesive team that consistently strives for excellence. Their leadership and enthusiasm have been invaluable, and it's been a joy to see them grow and develop throughout their time with us. Their commitment and positive attitude have set a wonderful example for the younger members of our team. These girls have meant so much to me personally, and I couldn't be prouder of them," said Regier. "We are immensely proud of all our cheerleaders and are excited to see them represent Three Forks High School at the Montana East-West Shrine Game. Their participation is not just a personal achievement but a celebration of our entire school's spirit and determination."
