DPHHS official offers tips for tick removal, prevention

Earlier this month, the Three Rivers Medical Clinic in Three Forks reported encountering a handful of embedded ticks.

Montana DPHHS Communications Officer Holly Matkin recently shared tips for area residents about tick removal and prevention.

Matkin said if someone finds a tick, they should first remove it as quickly and safely as possible.
