Three Forks native to perform following Rodeo Dayz Parade

Three Forks native and professional magician Kyle Groves is returning home with two shows scheduled during Three Forks Rodeo Dayz.

Groves of KCG Entertainment will perform at the Three Forks Community Library on Thursday, July 18, at 10 a.m. and on Saturday, July 20, around 1 p.m. in front of the office of the Chiropractic Clinic of Three Forks. Both shows are free of charge.

For Groves, it is always a treat to come back and perform in his hometown.

"Three Forks is where the magic all began. If it were not for my dad, 'Mr. E,' I probably would have chosen a different career. My dad and mom began the business in Three Forks, and it has allowed us the opportunity to travel throughout this great country of ours and places beyond; however, Three Forks will always hold a very special place in all of our hearts," Groves said.

While Groves performs in different markets, such as libraries, fairs, festivals, and schools, he said the one constant with a KCG Entertainment Show is that it is always 100 percent family-friendly.

"The goal of every show is to entertain the four-year-old, the 14-year-old, the 40-year-old, and the 80-year-old and beyond. Every show incorporates state-of-the-art magic, music, comedy, and tons of audience participation," Groves said.

With the opportunity to perform across the country, Groves admits he always gets to have the best seat in the house.

"I get to look out and see the smiles and the laughter of kids of all ages. I am fortunate enough to be able to spend some of the most important times of people's lives with them. I am invited to be a part of their special moment in time," said Groves. "I also believe that if I can, for just a very short period of time, help someone forget what is happening in the world or in their world, I have done my job. I believe smiles are contagious, and if I can make one person smile, they will, in turn, make the next person smile."
