Online registration underway

It is mid-July and the start of another school year at Three Forks Schools is right around the corner. School staff will begin trainings and orientations mid-August with the first day of school for students in grades 1-12 being August 21st.

The official first day of school for both 2YK and Kindergarten will be August 28th. Online registration for all incoming students officially kicked off on July 20th. Parents can access the District website at tfschools.com to find the registration link. There should be a step-by-step process listed that shares what other documents parents will need to complete this process. One of the most critical pieces at this time is for the District is to have a solid understanding of grade level numbers.

Due to some smaller sections throughout the District, every enrolled student needs to be accounted for to ensure proper staffing for the start of the 24-25 school year.

Currently Three Forks Elementary School is planning for only 2 sections of Kindergarten due to anticipated low numbers.

Each year we have students arrive unannounced in August, pushing our numbers higher than expected. We would like to avoid this and have parents work proactively with the District, sharing news of being new to the District or that a Kindergarten aged student will be attending this year. With proper notification, the District can have the proper amount of classrooms established and staffing in place. This will allow for a smoother start to the school year for both families and the District.

Grade level classroom supplies can be accessed via the District website by clicking on the elementary home page. Hard copies will also be available outside the elementary school office during school operational hours. Once online registration is completed, registered families will be able to see classroom placement via their parent portal. Classroom placements will not go active until early August.
