17 candidates vying for spot on study commission

During the November 5 election, voters in Gallatin County select seven county residents to serve on the local government study commission.

In June, Gallatin County residents voted 13,700 to 11,094 to commission a study of county government. By the August 12 deadline, 13 candidates had registered for the election.
