Outlaws finish second at Northwest Regional Tournament

A phenomenal postseason run from the Gallatin Valley Outlaws American Legion Baseball team ended with a second-place finish at last week's Northwest Class A Regional Tournament in Roseburg, OR.

After advancing to the final round in Oregon with a convincing 9-1 win on August 10 over Glacier, Gallatin Valley advanced to the final round for a matchup with undefeated Eagle River, Alaska. Needing to pick up two wins for the state title, the Outlaws fell 5-0 in the opening game to Eagle River, who had advanced to the Northwest Regional after finishing second at the Alaska Class AA State Tournament....
