New Booster Club in Three Forks

A new booster club is up and running in Three Forks.

Formed earlier this year by Jessica Owens, Terra Posthumus, and Michelle Rogers, the Three Forks Wolves Booster Club's purpose is to support athletic and academic excellence in all student-athletes, promote active and involved parent and community leadership, promote sportsmanship, and provide supplementary financial support to the Three Forks Junior High and High School Athletics and Activities. The club will also work in conjunction with the Three Forks Schools to promote all athletic programs and activities.

Last week was busy for the club, as it hosted its first meeting on August 28 and went live with its new website, https://www.threeforkswolvesboosterclub.com/.

Prior to the meeting, Posthumus, who serves as the club's secretary, said she understood there was a very active booster club in Three Forks years ago, but it is no longer in existence.

"We definitely saw a need, especially with the mill levy not passing and the financial needs of the school," said Posthumus. "We thought it was a good time to start back up and reorganize so we can start getting the community out to help."

The Three Forks Wolves Booster Club currently has three sponsorship levels.

According to the club, the $500 Platinum Sponsorship was created for families and individuals who want to generously support the student-athletes. Platinum sponsors will have their name printed in home and postseason programs and on a banner hanging in the Three Forks Gym (individual or family names only) and will also receive an exclusive club t-shirt and window decal.

Those who sign up for the Gold membership will have their name printed in home and postseason programs, as well as the booster club t-shirt and window decal.

The Silver membership of $50 will include a window decal and name printer in home game programs.

At last week's meeting, club members also discussed the possibility of adding corporate sponsorship.

With the fall sports season underway, the club hopes to get seven people to serve on the board of directors.

"We need a lot of help. We have a ton of ideas but not enough people to implement them," Posthumus said.

Those interested in joining the Three Forks Wolves Booster Club can sign up for a membership on the new website.
