R. Lavon Flynn went to be with her Savior and Redeemer on August 28, 2024. She was surrounded by her family. Lavon was born March 14, 1934, in Crow Wing County, Minnesota, to Ellen Kelly Davis and Chauncey Davis. Lavon was the eldest of six children.
Lavon was preceded in death by both parents, Ellen McLean and Chauncey Davis, son Daniel Torrence, daughter Theo LaBrosse; two sons-in-law, Mike LaBrosse and Dave Williams; granddaughter, Jennifer Alcorn; two great-grandsons, Keaton Schomer and Timmy Jones Stuber, three brothers Bill Davis, Harve Davis and Everette Davis, and grandson in law Jordan Whitsell.
Lavon leaves behind her husband of 60 years, Dale Flynn; daughters Carla (Ed) Schomer, Mandy (Donald) Holmes, and Chris Williams; sons Joe (Lana) Torrence, Lucky Flynn, and Bob (Bonnie) Driscoll; 21 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren and 29 great-great-grandchildren, sister Jeannette Davis, and brother Larry McLean.
Lavon’s service will be held Sunday, September 8, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Christian Center Assembly of God, 315 First Ave. West, in Three Forks, Montana. Please come and share your memories and celebrate Lavon with us.
