Governing body receives rodeo report

At last week's City Council meeting, Three Forks Rodeo Board Chair Casey Elmose gave his annual report to the governing body.

Elmose reported that attendance was down at the annual Three Forks NRA Rodeo in July, with 2,400 on Friday and 2,700 on Saturday. He said the numbers were 3,400 and 3,200 in 2023, but this year, they had a lot of competition with the Gallatin County Fair, a rodeo in Whitehall, and a concert at Bridger Brewing.

He said the board was torn because they like to have larger attendance, but this year, it was a bit more manageable.
