American Red Cross Blood Drive set for Feb. 6 in Three Forks

Due to the ongoing impact of severe winter conditions and wildfires, the American Red Cross is encouraging donors to give blood to help protect the supply.

According to American Red Cross Reginal Communications Director Matt Ochsner, weather events have canceled nearly 500 blood drives in January, and donors of all blood types, particularly Type 0 negative blood donors, are needed.

An upcoming blood donation opportunity is available for Three Forks residents on Thursday, February 6, from 12 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church at 124 2nd Ave. E.
